Delaware Seafood Festival Kids Art Calendar Contest

This year the Delaware Seafood Festival has decided to start a new tradition. Beginning with this year’s festival we will be holding a kids art calendar contest. We will select 12 winners and each of those will be assigned a month for the 2026 Delaware Seafood Festival calendar. Each of the 12 winners will also be awarded $100.

These calendars will be sold every year at the festival and the proceeds will go to The Schell Foundation for 2025. The winners will also be invited to the festival to be presented an award on stage.

The rules to enter are below.

1. Drawings should be no larger than 11×14 inches and no smaller than 8×10 inches.
2. Entrants must be between the ages of 3-17.
3. All artworks must be seafood, beach, or nautical related.
4. Drawings on white or light-colored paper will reproduce best.
5. Do not use ruled notebook paper.
6. All entries must use crayon, marker, pencil/colored pencil or paint.
7. The artwork should be stand-alone artwork; do not include the name of the month, days of the week, or calendar dates in the art itself.
8. Submit the original artwork. Judges will not consider photocopies.
9. Do not mount, mat, or frame artwork.
10. Do not fold or crease artwork.
11. ALL artworks must be original and not be copied to any extent. Anything deemed a copy or plagiarism will be disqualified.
12. Please mail artwork to 26145 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro Delaware 19966 and label the envelope as DO NOT BEND!
